Leadership and staff
Co-Founder and Executive Director
Anthony co-founded Organic Soup Kitchen in 2009 and has led its growth into a trusted community resource for people facing cancer, chronic illness, and food insecurity. A stage 4 prostate cancer survivor, Anthony brings both operational experience and personal perspective to the mission. His leadership is grounded in accountability, evidence-informed nutrition, and measurable impact.
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Andrea leads operations, financial management, and organizational systems, bringing more than a decade of experience in budgeting, finance, and business leadership. Previously a Territory Manager and Chief Financial Officer with Herff Jones Central Coast, she combines operational discipline with a strong commitment to community health, accountability, and sustainable growth.
Program Coordinator
Ana coordinates client support and day-to-day program operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she helps ensure clients receive clear, responsive, and dependable service.
Development Manager
Yael supports fundraising strategy, grant development, donor engagement, program oversight, and organizational growth. As Managing Editor of OSK's magazine, she also helps shape the organization's voice and outreach.
Volunteer Chef
With more than 17 years of kitchen experience, Tony oversees daily culinary production, kitchen staff, and volunteer teams while maintaining standards for consistency, food safety, efficiency, and quality.
Kitchen Assistant
Austin supports culinary production from ingredient preparation and cooking through packaging and kitchen operations. Food Handler Certified, Austin helps maintain consistency, efficiency, safety, and quality.
Kitchen Assistant
Clementina supports preparation, cooking, and packaging while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she strengthens communication across the kitchen team.
Registered Dietitian
Michelle provides clinical nutrition support for clients managing chronic illness. She conducts nutritional assessments, identifies dietary needs, and guides clients as they select SoupMeals.
Social Media and Marketing Director
Natasha leads marketing, social media, and digital presence, helping strengthen OSK's brand, expand its reach, and communicate the mission and impact across multiple platforms.
Accounting Team
Krista, President and Client CFO of Socious Accounting Solutions, brings more than 25 years of financial leadership, accounting, forecasting, reporting, and fiscal oversight.

A computer scientist with a Master of Public Health, Jenny brings analytical thinking, public health perspective, and strategic leadership.

With a background in nutrition, hydrocolonic therapy, and massage therapy, Nancy brings a whole-person health perspective and financial oversight.

Jane brings more than a decade of dedication to Organic Soup Kitchen and has become a trusted leader within our volunteer community. Drawing on eight years as a dance teacher in Los Angeles, she brings energy, discipline, and teamwork to the kitchen.
Volunteer Lead
DJ has been part of Organic Soup Kitchen for 17 years, making her one of our longest-serving volunteers and a respected kitchen leader. After more than 40 years at UCSB coordinating international exchange students, she brings exceptional organization and commitment.
